Tammy is Willy’s mother, an educator, and a founder of Willy’s World. She and her husband, Will, created the fund together to help children with hidden disabilities and their families find support, resources, and a sense of belonging.
Why Willy’s World
After Willy’s diagnoses in 2021, Tammy and Will experienced firsthand the challenges of finding the right support for their child. That journey inspired them to build connections, share resources, and help other families feel less alone.
Willy’s World is a charitable fund of the Community Foundation of Western PA & Eastern OH, a 501(c)(3) public charity. Willy’s World is not a separate 501(c)(3) organization. All charitable contributions to Willy’s World are administered through the Community Foundation.
Education and Experience
Tammy earned a Bachelor of Arts in English Education from SUNY Fredonia and a Master of Science in Secondary Education from SUNY College at Buffalo. Her teaching experience spans middle and high school English, including special education.
She has also advised student councils and participated in the Student Assistance Program. She brings that experience to helping families navigate resources and encouraging more sensory-friendly, inclusive communities.
