What Does the Sunflower Mean?
Wearing the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower is a voluntary way to let others know that a person has a disability or condition that may not be immediately apparent. It can help communicate that they may appreciate assistance, patience, or more time in everyday situations.
People’s needs are different. The Sunflower opens the door to understanding; it does not tell us everything about a person or the support they may want.
